Anh Nguyen, who immigrated to the U.S. in 1989, co-founded Neo Hibachi after a transformative career in the culinary industry. Upon arriving in the U.S., Anh immediately entered the workforce to support his family, sidelining his educational aspirations due to financial constraints. In 1993, he met Ngan Trinh, whom he married in 1999, and the couple later welcomed two children. In 2008, Ngan's family launched Pho Far East, where Anh honed his skills as a chef for over a decade. Following the sale of Pho Far East in 2021, Anh took a brief hiatus, during which he cultivated a passion for both Vietnamese cuisine and Japanese culinary arts, including hibachi and sushi. With renewed vigor and the support of his brother-in-law, John Tang, Anh established Neo Hibachi, committing to deliver delectable, affordably priced meals.
